What is Vitamin C usually used for?
Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) helps with the absorption of iron, synthesis of collagen, production of neurotransmitters, synthesis of steroid hormones, and is also an important water-soluble antioxidant. There is abundant research on “C” lowering high lipids (cholesterol, triglycerides, and LDL) & liver enzymes, as well as being beneficial for arteries and veins.
What is the recommended dosage of Vitamin C?
Our general recommendation of Vitamin C is ¼ to ½ tsp. daily for children & ½ to 2 tsp. daily for adults, for more specific dosing it is best to consult with your HCP.
How long will 1 bottle of Vitamin C last?
It depends on how much is consumed daily-sold in 180 gram or 454 gram bottles.
Can Vitamin C be taken on an empty stomach?
It can be taken on am empty or full stomach, but always with a full glass of water.
